Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, he pursued a Master of Applied Science in Materials Engineering at Sharif University in 2005, focusing on the effect of strain fields on the kinetics of static recrystallization. His academic endeavors culminated in a Doctorate in Computational Materials Science and Engineering from McMaster University in 2015, with a thesis titled "Simulation Based Study of Solidification in Aluminum-Silicon System," under the guidance of Prof. Jeffrey J. Hoyt.

Dr. Saidi embarked on his professional journey as a Computational Materials Scientist at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in January 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Research Associate at Queen’s University from July 2016 to January 2023, working under the mentorship of Prof. Mark Daymond.
