Dr. Hameeda Panezai embarked on her academic journey with a strong focus on chemistry, earning her M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Baluchistan, Quetta, in 1999. She furthered her studies by completing an M.Phil. in Physical Chemistry at the same university in 2014. Subsequently, she pursued a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry at Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, obtaining her doctoral degree in 2017. Her early academic pursuits laid the foundation for a career dedicated to research and academia.

Professional Endeavors:

Dr. Panezai's professional journey reflects her commitment to education and research. She has held various academic positions, starting as a Lecturer in the Government of Baluchistan's Colleges Higher and Technical Education Department in 2000. Over the years, she progressively advanced in her career, serving as an Assistant Professor from 2009 to 2018. In 2018, she took on the role of Assistant Professor at Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University, Quetta, before joining Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) as an Associate Professor in 2019. Currently, she holds the position of Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Chemistry at BUITEMS.

Contributions and Research Focus:

Dr. Panezai's research interests span Adsorption Science and Interface Chemistry. Her work delves into the adsorption features of metal-exchanged zeolites, with a focus on small inorganic molecules. She has contributed significantly to the synthesis of FAU-type zeolites, controlling surface chemical features and pore structures suitable for target gas molecules. Her expertise extends to the surface chemistry of metal-exchanged Faujasites (LSX) and MFI (ZSM-5) zeolites.

Dr. Panezai's contributions to the field have earned her several honors and distinctions. She received the Outstanding Graduate Award in Ph.D. from Beijing University of Technology in 2017. Additionally, she was awarded the Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship in the same year. Her achievements also include First Prizes for scientific and technological innovation in 2016 and 2017. In 2013, she received the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) for her Ph.D.
