He completed his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics with Statistics in April 1990 from S.V. Degree College, Kadapa, S.V. University, Tirupati. He further specialized in Applied Spectroscopy and Solid State Physics during his M.Sc. at S.V. University, Tirupati, awarded in 1992.
