Dr. Shun-Qi Xu embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southeast University, China, in 2013. Here, he focused on "Construction and Properties of New Two-Dimensional Supramolecular Organic Framework and Covalent Organic Framework," laying the foundation for his expertise in Organic Framework and Catalysis. Dr. Xu then continued to hone his research skills during his Ph.D. at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, completing a thesis on “Cyano-Substituted sp²-Carbon-Linked Two-Dimensional Conjugated Polymers” under the guidance of Professor Xinliang Feng, an authority in the field.

He began as a postdoctoral researcher at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, and then advanced to a role at the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics, Germany.
