I earned my Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the Department of Medical Microbiology at the University Hospital of Muenster, University of Muenster, Germany. The recognition for my doctoral work was underscored by a "very good" rating (Magnacumlaude). Prior to this, I completed my Master's in Medical Laboratory Sciences with a major in Medical and Molecular Microbiology from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jordan, Jordan, achieving an outstanding GPA of 3.94 out of 4.00.

Prof. Dr. Edvan Moreira began his academic journey with a solid foundation in physics, graduating from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) in 2005. He continued his academic pursuit by earning a Master's degree in Physics from UFMA in 2008, showcasing early dedication to the field.

Professional Endeavors

Further advancing his expertise, Dr. Moreira completed a Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in 2011. Subsequently, he engaged in postdoctoral research at the Biosciences Center (Biophysics-UFRN) from 2011 to 2012, broadening his interdisciplinary knowledge.

Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor and Head of the Department of Physics at UEMA, Dr. Moreira has taken on leadership roles in various educational programs, including the National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching (MNPEF/SBF) and the Master's in Aerospace Engineering (PPgEA/RNAUEMA/UFMA/UFPE/UFRN). His involvement in these programs underscores his commitment to advancing physics education and research.

Dr. Moreira's research focuses on Atomic and Molecular Physics and Condensed Matter Physics, with an emphasis on ab initio methods, DFT, structural analysis, mechanical properties, optoelectronic properties, thermodynamics, and vibrational spectra (IR and Raman). As the Coordinator of the Computational Modeling Group (GMC-UEMA) and a member of the Dynamics and Ab Initio Group (GDAI-UnB), he actively contributes to cutting-edge research in these areas.
