EARLY ACADEMIC PURSUITS
Dr. Wanderson Romão embarked on his academic journey with a strong foundation in Chemistry, earning both a Bachelor's and a Licentiate degree from the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo in 2006. His passion for scientific inquiry and dedication to the field led him to pursue further education, culminating in a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) in 2009. Building upon this, he achieved his doctoral degree in Sciences from the same institution in 2010, with a groundbreaking thesis titled "NOVAS APLICAÇÕES DA ESPECTROMETRIA DE MASSAS EM QUÍMICA FORENSE."
PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS
Following the completion of his doctoral studies, Dr. Romão commenced his postdoctoral research at the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. His academic journey then led him to become a faculty member and Director of Research at the Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo, where he continues to inspire and lead research efforts. Since 2011, he has been a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFES, contributing significantly to the academic community through his research and mentorship.

Dr. Romão's research endeavors span a wide range of areas, with a primary focus on Chemistry Forensics, Mass Spectrometry, Petroleomics, and Agribusiness. His pioneering work has been instrumental in advancing knowledge and understanding in these fields. Through numerous projects funded by prestigious organizations such as CNPQ, FAPES, and CAPES, he has made substantial contributions to scientific literature, with over 250 articles published in international and national journals, along with 6 books and 8 book chapters.
