Dr. Uma Shankar's academic pursuits continued with a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India, where he received a highly recommended degree. Subsequently, he engaged in an internship as a Research Scholar at the Department of Medicinal and Applied Chemistry & Research Faculty of the Center for Environmental Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
