He pursued his Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from Vidyasagar Metropolitan College under Calcutta University, followed by an M.Sc. in Physics from Sunrise University, Rajasthan, where he graduated with distinction. Dr. Bhujel continued his academic pursuits with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from WBUTTPEA Swamivivekananda College of Education, excelling with a first division.

Dr. Bhujel's professional career began with part-time teaching at Ramakrishna Higher Secondary School, Kurseong, and subsequently full-time teaching at Don Bosco High School, Mirik, both located in Darjeeling, West Bengal. During this period, he guided M.Sc. and M.Tech/B.Tech students in research projects and prepared students for competitive examinations like NEET/JEE. He is highly skilled in Vedic mathematics and quick mathematics techniques, promoting the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Montessori education systems.

He has expertise in synthesizing and characterizing nanoparticles, nanorods, and quantum dots, with a focus on lead-free perovskite solar cells, hole transport materials, and electron transport materials.
